Introducing the Native Sessions
Collection for Sounds.com

Get the hip hop sound for Native Sessions now.

In the name of hip hop, a very special Sounds.com pack — dubbed the “Native Sessions Collection” — is now available to all Sounds.com subscribers. The release is influenced by the creative minds explored in the long-running Native Sessions event series; it’s a treasure trove of looped harmonic and percussive material, designed to provide an inspirational bedrock for all manner of hip hop production, on a global scale.

With exclusive loops and samples from the likes of DrivenSoundsCRL CRRLLForeign Allegiance, and many others, the pack has beat material for days. From raw, blistering drum loops to blooming, arpeggiated synths and melodic parts, the building blocks are here for hip hop producers of all stripes. Whether it’s a late-90s boom-bap sound, or bass-heavy, skittering trap beats you’re after, there’s triple-A material here to facilitate that particular flavor of fire.

The release of this collection is timely, too, coming in the midst of Native Instruments’ latest Native Sessions series, Bars. Taking place in Berlin, London, Paris, Tokyo, L.A., Toronto, and Mexico City, Bars is bringing performances, discussions, and workshops to these urban hubs, with some of the most exciting names in hip hop, rap, and grime from around the globe. It’s a way to bring the wide-ranging creative energy of the genre together, helping sow connections and ideas throughout these diverse hip hop communities.

To coincide with Bars, Native Instruments has teamed up with Metapop to launch a remix competition, with the chance to win a custom MASCHINE setup. So grab the Native Sessions Collection, let the beat flow through you, and visit the competition site here.
