Watch: ALB on MASCHINE’s pop potential at Native Sessions Paris

Over time, founder of French act ALB Clément Daquin, explored all its nooks and crannies within the worlds of virtual synths and vintage analog machines. It helped create a playing field for sonorous experimentations that fashioned his productions over the last fifteen years. His recent discovery of MASCHINE however, has acted like a revelatory bath, marking a new start with his profound desire to change the creative environment. Watch the video below to find out how Clément incorporated MASCHINE into his workflow to further his penchant for pop.

For the previous Native Sessions that took place during Paris Electronic Week at la Gaîté Lyrique, ALB explained how the intuitive workflow of MASCHINE influenced the revival of his creative process, through the recreation of his latest composition – a foretaste of what we can expect on his next album.

Through generating waves that allow him to adjust his instruments, with the Chords, Keyboard and Sampling functions, ALB shows how he’s able to save time and be more spontaneous than never before.

As a bonus, revisit the performance of ALB direct from the ‘Question de Son’ studios in Paris, for the release of MASCHINE MIKRO and the KOMPLETE KONTROL A-Series. At the time of this livestream, the duo played a unique live piece, with the help of MASCHINE and the new hardware.
