Watch: How to make a jazz sketch
using MASCHINE MIKRO

Find out how to make a freestyle jazz beat with this quick demonstration
video filmed at Native Sessions x ADE 2018.

Filmed at Native Sessions, held during Amsterdam Dance Event, Lead Product Expert Boris Mezga demonstrated how to start sketching and producing a jazz beat, by using just a a narrow range of sounds and kits on the new MASCHINE MIKRO.

By simply changing the time signature, and using ready-made library kits in the MASCHINE MIKRO, Boris builds a simple rhythm bassline, before proceeding to freestyle with some jazz-percussive beats. With the organ sounds taken from the VELVET LOUNGE Expansion, the vocal chops from CONANT GARDENS, the bass from the KONTAKT Factory Library, and some custom beats, he delivers a strong performance.
